Today, more and more research and pilot programs are exploring the use of high voltage technology to extract water directly from the atmosphere — either through direct condensation or by inducing precipitation. This emerging approach could become a sustainable alternative to seawater desalination, which remains energy-intensive and infrastructure-heavy.
Imagine generating water exactly where it’s needed — particularly in arid and drought-prone regions. That’s the promise of atmospheric water extraction, and it’s already being tested at scale in several countries facing critical water challenges.
Technix is proud to contribute to one of these ambitious initiatives. We delivered five high-voltage DC power supplies (120kV - 1200W) to the Ministry of Agriculture of one such country. After the successful validation of a first prototype unit, the rest of the equipment was commissioned and is now deployed in the field for full-scale trials.
✅ Remote control via Ethernet
✅ High reliability and robustness in demanding environments
✅ Flexible design tailored to customer needs
Above all, it was the client’s trust in our engineering and quality standards that made this collaboration possible.
